“Yoga For Every Body” is geared toward those who want to take it a little easier on their mat. A class for people who want to focus on deeper stretching and breathing to help alleviate stress and tension held in the body. Alignment principles, gentle breathing techniques, and basic poses will be taught at a slow pace for all levels of students. This practice is excellent for new yogis and seasoned yogis!

Warrior Yoga

In climbing, the mental state is highly important. Yoga traditionally is the practice of controlling the fluctuations of the mind. This yoga class will focus on not only building strength and flexibility in the body for climbing, but also focus on mental training techniques that include mindful awareness and breath work. It will also incorporate concepts from the book, “The Rock Warrior‘s Way,” which focuses on mental training for climbers. Come find your inner warrior!

The perfect rock climber’s cool down. Just as your daily routine is winding down or your climbing session is coming to an end, this vinyasa yoga practice will guide you from more heated flow to down tempo, gentle poses and deep stretching. This balancing class focuses on integrating breath with movement, calming the nervous system, and finding the harmony between steadiness an ease as the sun gives way to the moon. Also, the body-mind connection will be fostered through breath work and simple meditation.

Vinyasa yoga is a practice in which movement is synchronized to the breath. This style is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. This practice welcomes all levels of yogis.

Hot Vinyasa Yoga
Yoga For Rock Climbers

Whether you climb 5.13 or you have just tried on a climbing harness for the first time, this Vinyasa yoga class works to build overall athletic performance. With a focus on core and upper body strengthening, balance, and flexibility, this class offers a physical practice that will also cultivate the body mind connection. Breath work, or pranayama, is taught as a tool to help students meet challenges on the rock wall, or any other place off the yoga mat.

Kids Yoga

Kids yoga is a blend of active yoga sequences, energizing music, yoga-inspired games, mindfulness, meditation, and plenty of smiles into every class. Classes are age appropriate and no prior children’s yoga experience is required. Parents – go work on a climb or get in a workout while your child is in class!
